Kimberly Mullen founded Le Signal with a vision deeply rooted in wellness, conscious living, and a lifetime of global perspective. 


With a graduate degree in global affairs from New York University and a career advising and leading international investment firms—including Bridgewater Associates—as well as small businesses, prominent think tanks, and multinational corporations, she brings a strategic, systems-level mindset to everything she creates. 


But it was the more personal chapters of her life, outside of boardrooms, that ultimately catalyzed the creation of Le Signal. 


She became a mother, and nurtured her own and her family’s wellness through tennis, distance running, yoga, alpine skiing, strength training, and creative expression. She also spent time reflecting and meditating, adventuring across five continents, and caring for her son and Bernese Mountain Dog. While doing so, Kimberly sought performance apparel that was elevated yet functional—chic, protective, and capable of keeping pace with a life in motion.


When she couldn’t find exactly what she wanted, she created Le Signal—a company to produce the products she wanted to see in the world now, and a legacy to pass down to her son in the future.


Kimberly brings firsthand experience of life lived being active, fueling Le Signal’s commitment to performance, protection, and presence. With her early years in front of the camera as a model and actress in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Europe, storytelling training from both Yale and the American University of Paris, and a lifelong love of the visual arts, she infuses every collection with narrative depth and modern sophistication, alongside her business background.


Rooted in Alpine-chic aesthetics and Scandinavian minimalism, Le Signal blends high-performance design with refined craftsmanship and environmental integrity. Each piece is engineered to shield against the elements—from sun and snow to toxins and ticks—without sacrificing beauty, comfort, or freedom of movement.
